May Day is in conjunction with the El Paso Fire Department and the American Red Cross(El Paso Chapter) in encouraging adults, teenagers and children the importance of learning Hands Only CPR. The Drowning Prevention Coalition of El Paso will host “May Day” on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10am-2 pm at the El Paso Fire Department Training Academy at Ascarate Park.

May Day is the culmination of Drowning Prevention Week (May 13-19) in which over the week various members of the Drowning Prevention Coalition and swimming advocates go out to area public and private elementary schools to discuss the importance of water safety and encouraging all to “Learn to Swim”.

The Hands Only CPR will be FREE to attendees on May 19, 2018 and will also have music, food and refreshments. Each participant may sign up on the website.
