The El Paso County Parks and Recreation Department along with the Animal Welfare Department and Sheriff’s office invites all moviegoers to come and enjoy the beautiful summer evenings with “Parks After Sunset Movie Series”. The FREE family-friendly events will begin June 3rd through July 1st at various County parks.
This year series will include microchipping and adoptions provided by Animal Welfare along with activities provided by the County Sheriff’s office.
To make the event even cooler, the Parks Department will host two splash-down events on June 3rd and July 1st. The splash-down events will allow visitors to cool off before the movie by getting sprayed on by a fire truck. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and snacks; swimsuits, and towels are encouraged for splashdown events.
Each of the events will begin the movie at sunset (approximately 8:30 p.m.). Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are never allowed at any County Park.
