2019 4th of July Fireworks

El Paso, Texas - El Paso County Parks & Recreation invites the community to the Largest Firework Display in El Paso! The annual 4th of July celebration will be held at Ascarate Park, Thursday, July 4 with activities beginning at noon that will include food trucks, swimming, music, and a golf skills tournament.

The activities include:

The Ascarate Pool will have extended hours for the day with the regular session from noon to 5 pm and an evening session from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Within the park on the east side of the lake, an assortment of food trucks will be set up by 3 pm and the summer party music by DJs set up in three locations along the lake will begin at 5 pm and run until 9:00 pm prior to the fireworks display.

 

Ascarate Golf Course VIP Lawn Party promises a spectacular view of the fireworks with the best seats in the park, dinner and live music by Excape Band. Tickets are only $30 and can be purchased at the Pro Shop. The ticket also includes participation in a putting challenge tournament, where participants will have a chance to win prizes.

 

The Largest Fireworks Display will take place on the west side of the lake at 9:00 pm, offering optimal viewing for everyone within the park.

 

Parking will be $5 per vehicle, and no charge for those who walk in the park. Picnic shelters are free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis, however shelter rentals are available throughout the park. Fees start at $50 for the day and can be reserved, for more information call 915-771-2380. Park hours for the holiday will be 5:30 am to 10 pm.

El Paso County Parks & Recreation would like to remind the public that Ascarate Park is an alcohol and tobacco free facility. Safety is the top priority and staff and Sheriff’s deputies will be on-site throughout the event for any concerns or assistance required.
