El Paso County Adds Concert Night to Parks After Sunset Series

El Paso, Texas - El Paso County Parks & Recreation invites the community to come and boogie down the last weeks of summer with a concert after sunset! The County Parks and Recreation Department has added a concert night “Boogie After Sunset with Fungi Mungle” to its Parks After Sunset summer series. The event will be held Sunday, August 4th at Ascarate Park, beginning at 6pm.

Boogie After Sunset with Fungi Mungle concert is a family-friendly event that will have food trucks, jumping balloon, dancing and of course the groovy sounds of funk, disco and classic rock. Parking will be $2 per vehicle, and no charge for those who walk in the park.

The Parks After Sunset summer series typically hosts movies shown across El Paso County parks, and will be expanding to a concert night to close out the season with a different theme each year.

El Paso County Parks & Recreation would like to remind the public that Ascarate Park is a alcohol and tobacco free facility. Safety is the top priority, staff and Sheriff’s deputies will be on-site throughout the event for any concerns or assistance required.
