Help give a child a toy this holiday season!

The El Paso County Parks & Recreation Department have partnered with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Officers Association (EPCSOA) and local car groups for a toy drive event this Saturday, December 18th at Ascarate Park.

Park visitors will be able to waive the $2 parking fee by bringing a new unwrapped toy from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.

In participation of the toy drive, local car groups will host a car show inside Ascarate Park from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Blue Gill parking lot located at the top of the lake. Toy donations can be dropped off at the park’s toll booth.

All donations will be picked up by the EPCSOA and distributed to children in the El Paso community just in time for the holidays.
